I'm not going to kid anyone about this market. It was hard - it poured down continously from 7am when I was packing up the truck to go to Moseley Village Green - all the way till 2pm.
For one hour the rain abated and the residents of Moseley came to the market in a sudden burst. Then at 3pm as we began packing away, it started to pour again.
By the time I got home at 5pm, I was exhausted, soaked to the skin and hit hard in the pocket.
But hey ho, that's business. You have great days, you have bad days.
This is Paola Verse - despite the rain, she did a 20 minute and her singing was beautiful.
Sometimes you hear a song or tune and it just hits the mood on the head perfectly. Listening to her signing, was watching the rain come down, somehow was beautiful.
She lifted my mood.
I hope she does well in the future and I thank her for lifting my spirits on a damp day.
